pick one.
How it works
no forum. no prizes. just the month.
- 01
Before the 1st
Open the studio, start a project and set a finish line: the length and 30 November. Buildblur works out what every day needs.
- 02
Every day
Open it and it tells you today’s number, and when you’d finish at the pace you’re really keeping. Leave yourself one line for tomorrow.
- 03
When you fall behind
You will. The finish line recalculates instead of scolding you.
- 04
On the 30th
Export the draft (PDF, EPUB, Final Draft, Fountain) and your authorship record. Share the number if you like: “94% typed by me.”
Why here
a place to write, not a tracker.
Other November challenges count your words somewhere else. Buildblur is where the words are: the page, your world, your structure and the count, in one tab, free during the beta.
questions.
Does it cost anything?
No. Buildblur is free during the beta, and everything you need for the month is in it.
Do I have to sign up?
Only a quick sign-in, with Google or a code by email. Your project and finish line are then kept in your account, on every device you write on.
Can I start late?
Yes. Set the finish line whenever you start; the daily number adjusts.
Can I use the AI?
It’s your draft. The authorship record will show honestly what was typed, pasted or kept from the AI, which is the point of it.
