About
every story starts as a blur.
A face you half-see. A city you haven’t named. A middle you can’t find. Writing is bringing it into focus. Buildblur is the studio for that.
Why it exists
most books are never finished.
Writers don’t stall because they can’t produce words. They stall in the middle, when the story gets too big to hold: who knew what, which rule you already broke, why the villain has a cat. The tools that promise help mostly generate more words. Anyone can generate a book now. Buildblur does the other thing: it remembers the story, so you can finish the one you’re writing yourself.
What we believe
five rules we build by.
- 01
The writer is the hero
The AI suggests. It never writes into your page without you choosing it, and your record shows what came from where.
- 02
Nothing before the first sentence
One tap to sign in, no key, no setup. Open it and type.
- 03
Your work is yours
It lives in your account, readable only by you, and exports to formats every other tool reads.
- 04
In the page, not beside it
New features belong inside the writing, not in another panel you have to remember to open.
- 05
Honest about what it is
If something isn’t built yet, the site says “not yet”.
Who makes it
a small studio.
Buildblur is made by Preetham at BUILD/POV, and built in public. If something is broken, missing or wrong, write to preetham@buildpov.com. It gets read.
