In fairness
where scrivener is better.
Scrivener’s compile is far more flexible, it works fully offline as a desktop app, and it syncs to its iPad and iPhone apps. If you already live in it, Buildblur is best for the part of the book where you’ve lost the thread.
Switching
bring your work with you.
Buildblur imports Word (.docx), Final Draft (.fdx), Fountain, Markdown and plain text, and splits it into scenes. Try it on a copy; nothing changes in the original.
try it on your own pages.
Free during the beta. Sign in, import a chapter, and see if it feels right.
