In fairness
where final draft is better.
For production — revision colours, locked pages, scene numbering, reports, the formatting studios expect — Final Draft is the tool. Buildblur is for getting the draft written; when it goes into production, export .fdx and finish it there.
Switching
bring your work with you.
Buildblur imports Word (.docx), Final Draft (.fdx), Fountain, Markdown and plain text, and splits it into scenes. Try it on a copy; nothing changes in the original.
try it on your own pages.
Free during the beta. Sign in, import a chapter, and see if it feels right.
